Terms and Conditions for General Service and Maintenance

1. Definitions
- Company: Air+Med Pte Ltd and its successors.
- Customer: The client and their successors.
- Equipment: The machinery covered under this Agreement.
- Services: Maintenance, repairs, and other services provided.
- Fee: The amount payable for the services.
- Goods: Spare parts or materials required for maintenance.
- Maintenance: The periodic service of equipment as outlined in the Agreement.
2. Payment Terms
Advance Payment: The Customer must pay the full-service fee in advance when signing the contract.
Late Payment: If the Customer fails to pay on time, the Company may suspend or terminate services.
Disputed Invoices: Any disputed amounts must still be paid in full, with the dispute settled separately.
3. Scope of Work
- Services Provided: Maintenance of the equipment as specified in Annexure C (fan coils and condensing units), including checks, cleaning, and flushing of parts.
- Exclusions: Additional charges apply for chemical cleaning, repairs, replacement of parts, and consumables.
4. Service Hours
Services are available Monday to Saturday (9 am to 6 pm), excluding public holidays.
Emergency Services: Available after office hours at an additional charge.
5. Customer Responsibilities
Access: Ensure that the Company’s staff have safe and reasonable access to the equipment.
Scheduling: The Customer is responsible for scheduling maintenance and ensuring timely access.
Cancellation: The Customer must provide at least one day’s notice for cancellations; otherwise, it will count as a service rendered.
6. Liability Limitations
The Company is not liable for damages caused by equipment failure, unauthorized repairs, or damage to the Customer’s property.
The Customer must secure their belongings as the Company is not responsible for any loss.
7. Taxes
- The Company reserves the right to revise service fees to reflect new taxes or levies imposed by the government.
8. Contract Period and Warranty
Annual Service Contracts: Service contracts are based on the number of services per year (3, 4, or 6 times), with a warranty extending for a period after the service completion.
Warranty Exclusions: The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, voltage issues, misuse, or unauthorized modifications.
9. Termination
Customer Termination: If the Customer terminates the contract before services are completed, they may be subject to a penalty of 20% of the total contract fee.
No Refund: No refund will be provided if services have already been rendered.
Administrative Fee: A $15 fee will apply for any refund processing.
10. Personal Data Protection
• The Customer agrees to the collection and use of their personal data for service-related purposes, including communication about future services or updates.
11. Amendments
• The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time, with changes posted on the Company’s website. The Customer is bound by these changes.
Annexure C: Scope of Work for Air-Conditioner Maintenance
Fan Coils: Checking the fan operation, cleaning filters, blower, cooling coils, and flushing the drain pipe.
Condensing Units: Checking compressor pressures, cleaning condenser coils, and checking the fan motor and fan bearings.
These Terms outline the responsibilities of both the Customer and Company regarding service, payment, and the maintenance of the equipment. Please ensure you understand and agree to these conditions before signing the contract.
